Why am I getting a bill from Aurum Pathology PLLC?
The bill you received details the professional services performed by our pathologists during your encounter at a healthcare facility. Pathologists interpret hematopathology and surgical pathology specimens, supervise, validate, and evaluate laboratory results to provide your attending physician with information needed for diagnosis and treatment.
How do I receive the diagnostic results?
Laboratory and pathology reports are provided to your doctor, who can best interpret the results to you.
Will Aurum Pathology PLLC bill my insurance?
Yes. We will bill your insurance if we have your insurance information on file. Once your claim is processed, you should receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance company indicating the amount billed, payments received, adjustments taken, and balance due. We will send you a statement for amounts you owe only after your insurance has processed your claim.
